# PICSA Offshore — Subsea Scope Brief

**Status:** Working draft — technical and commercial approval required  
**Purpose:** Capture the minimum information needed to qualify an ROV-, diver- or vessel-supported subsea scope.

## 1. Asset and objective
- Client, asset, field and location
- Asset type, lifecycle stage and current status
- Operational objective and required decision
- Relevant drawings, previous surveys and known anomalies

## 2. Operating environment
- Water depth, current, visibility and seabed conditions
- Vessel, launch-and-recovery and deck arrangements
- Weather window, SIMOPS and access restrictions
- Area classification and environmental constraints

## 3. Proposed work
- Inspection, repair, maintenance, construction or decommissioning task
- Candidate ROV or diving method
- Sensors, tooling, intervention loads and consumables
- Specialist-contractor and client interfaces

## 4. Evidence and acceptance
- Required video, images, survey data or measurements
- Positioning and traceability requirements
- Witness and hold points
- Acceptance authority and handover format

## 5. Verification gate
PICSA must verify equipment availability, partner responsibilities, competence, operating limits, procedures and insurance before issuing a delivery commitment.
